About
Born from a simple footwear frustration.
Topless Shoes was created by inventor Timothy Flanagan after recognizing a gap in open footwear: consumers want the feeling of freedom, but traditional sandals, flip-flops, and slides all force a compromise.
The result is a patented open front footwear architecture designed to give the front of the foot more freedom while keeping the sole secured through adjustable side, ankle, and heel support.
"For years I wanted a sandal that didn't fight my foot. When I couldn't find one, I designed one and filed the patent."
The company behind the patent is Comfy Toes LLC. Topless Shoes is the public-facing brand of the patented technology and is available to license under exclusive and non-exclusive arrangements.
